Venue

ER2023 will be held in Lisbon, at the Congress Center of the Instituto Superior Técnico (nicknamed just “Técnico“), the engineering school of the “Universidade de Lisboa”.

The Congress Center is at the address “Avenida Rovisco Pais“, at the heart of Lisbon, well served of public transportation (the airport is only at 4km distance) and with hotels of all categories available at a walking distance.

The average weather temperature in early November ranges between 11ºC and 18ºC. Sunrise is by 07:40 and sunset by 19:10.

Lisbon is a city by the sea, in the delta of the Tagus river, which results in a unique sky and natural light. Food is a “big thing” (fish and pastries can be unexpected experiences, such as the many kinds of cooking “Bacalhau”, the unique “Pastel de nata”, etc.). For those willing to appreciate the unique Portuguese way of “feeling blue”, there are also many places to listen unique sound of fado, Cultural Heritage of Humanity (also consider doing that while also tasting the great local food and wine).
