Notes:
- Sessions the 6 November
- The workshop DC (Doctoral Consortium) will be a closed event, for only the students and the tutors (the students will then give open presentations in a “Track” session). For the other evens, see the list of workshops, the program of the SCME, and the list of tutorials (IMPORTANT: The Tutorial 1 – “Combining BPMN with Artefact-Centric Business Process Modeling” will be held the 7 November as two sessions in the slots 11:30-13:00 and 16:00-17:30!!!).
- Not all these events will last a full day, and a few will held in several parallel tracks. A few days before, all participants registered for this day will receive an email with a request to fill in a form to inform ahead what specific events are intending to assist.
- Reception
- This will be an informal welcome event, to be held in the breaks/lunches hall, with refreshments and typical Portuguese “petiscos” (our Spanish cousins called it “tapas”… two different names for precisely the same concept… for the service, we’ll make use of the French concept of “buffet”… concerning the participants, we’ll call them “amigos”, which is the same work in the Portuguese and Spanish languages… all interesting “concepts” ;-))

- Plenary 2 – Panel with the 4 (FOUR) distinguished keynote speakers, plus a pitch session with the 8 posters (all posters will be exposed in the breaks/lunches hall during all the conference)
- Plenary 3 – Maurizio Lenzerini, “Conceptual Modeling and Knowledge Representation: a journey from Data Modeling to Knowledge Graphs”
- Plenary 4 – Catia Pesquita, “True or False? The impact of negative knowledge in biomedical artificial intelligence”

- Depending of the specific session, there will be held in simultaneous 2 to 4 parallel tracks, each of one of these types:
- Proceedings papers – See here the 21 papers and respective session’s names; the precise location of each session in the program will be detailed when the final version of the program…
- ER Forum papers – See here all the 18 full papers and the 8 short-papers…
- Journal-first papers – 4 talks (all in one session)!!!
- Project Exhibitions – 5 talks (in two sessions)!!!
- Doctoral Consortium Projects – 4 talks, by the respective students, and prepared after the DC workshop to be held the 6 November with the tutors !!!
- Depending of the specific session, there will be held in simultaneous 2 to 4 parallel tracks, each of one of these types:
- Conference Dinner – The announcement of the Peter Chen award and other awards will be announced during the dinner…
- Breaks and lunches will be held, in the hall of the Congress Center, with buffet service.
